A 2-day workshop featuring botanical dye, eco-printing, indigo & shibori, combined harmoniously with Slow Stitching and basket weaving. This immersive workshop is about slowing down, and finding the beauty in colour and your creativity.
A delicious day focussing on slowing down and learning the simple beautiful art of home cooking from scratch (think pickles, yogurt, kombucha) and tapping into your creativity by crafting a traditional and useful woven basket. Includes long lunch and a goody bag. Teachers: Kate Walsh from Real Food and Ellie Beck.
Learn the beauty of extracting colour from plants, flowers and kitchen scraps. Using art, science and alchemy you'll discover the magic of Botanical and Indigo dyeing, as well as Shibori and eco-printing.
Using botanical dyeing, booking binding, fabric painting, and unusual tools for making marks on paper and fabric, we’ll explore what it means to be an ‘artist’ and what it means to work without guidelines or boundaries. A 2-day workshop that will open your eyes to the Happy Chances of creative play!
